Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani has been an extremely popular Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was among the richest and most popular. Shottas was one of the most acclaimed films in which he appeared along with another artist Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed by Shang Records in 1996 where the first album he put out was like Father Like Son. He has also released a number of singles, such as Judge Not with Patra and Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts) and the Who the Cap Fit Remix and Sensimelia. All of them helped contribute to his growing popularity with the younger generation of reggae artists. Ky-Mani collaborated with Praswell of Fugees in the song Avenue in 1997. The song was a hugely popular cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley became the first musician to appear in Midem in Miami which was an international festival of music.
