Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian musician and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the label Decca Records in May 2015 receiving great approval from bloggers as well as the press. The singer has released two top-of-the-line covers Half the World Away by the group Oasis in a commercial for Christmas by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry shared a tweet that Perry promoted her song Runaway. It was her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memories involve finding a tiny piano hidden in the basement and being fascinated at the sound it created. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes advised her to make music as a means of the sake of personal development, and not for the purpose of making money or for an interest. In the end, she began writing the music she composed herself. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her most favored writers. Her mother had said that her songs could not only help her gain fame, and also inspire others to see their significance to the world and appreciate the possibilities for the songs She decided to start performing publicly. She began playing the piano at age six and writing music at age nine. Family members didn't even be aware of this until she was fourteen. There was no way she could have imagined to be Aurora. The singer claims she is a fan of creating music. For her, music is the only method to experience anything.
